Give me wings to fly

LOVE is a word, simple and plain
But its hard to explain

Love has wings to fly
And everywhere it wants it will go
Some fly alone, some fly in two

There was a time when love passed me by
It swept my feet away and gave me wings to fly
Being too young to know, I follow where it go

We fly so high that we almost touch the sky
It made me smile and happy too
Not just for a day or two
As soon as I know, years had passed us by

But one fine day, it go away without a goodbye
I lost my wing and fell right to where I come
It made me wonder whether I will ever fly

When I least expect it, it knocked into my heart
But now, I'm on my guard
I'm not ready yet, I can't pretend
Just give me sometimes
If God allows, love will find a way
And eventually it will give me wings to fly :)
