First love

Really can't hold the urge to blog...
Though I can't log in through my comp, managed to get in through my phone :)

These few week was really hectic..
Time seems to be running very fast..
In just few more days exam is going to start..
Pressure is definitely mounting, but I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me :)

I miss those times I can just sit sing and pray without worrying about the time..
But I know no matter what, He still with me all the time..

Few things to share..

Just few days ago when I was walking home, I remembered what was shared during cg..
"When we often get disappointed with Christians, God will allow us to encounter with Christians that will disappont us. Cause from this, God wants to teach us that we should not depend on human.. To God alone we should depend on cause He's perfect and He will not disappoint us"

But that evening the message speaks differently to the situation I faced..
"How long will u keep trying to always please the people around u.. You tried so hard, do all that you could just to make them happy.. You know its tiring yet u keep on doing it.. You sacrifice yourself and sometimes you even compromise God just to please people.. The more u do it.. God will allow more of such situation whereby you can't please others untill u finally realise that you really can't please everyone all the time"

Few days later, while I was reading..
The same message was being conveyed "God did not anoint us to be a people pleaser but He wants us to be God pleaser.. whatever we do we have to please Him"
Well I know its a personal test for me.. To make me a better vesel for His purpose..
And I know with His guidance He will bring me up to the next level...

Today, the message shared during prayer meeting was simple and short
But I really thank God for that message..
It saves me just in time before i feel deep..
It was about your first love..
Not any first love but its the love for the one and only God (Rev 2:1-7)

True enough that first love will fade through time...
Especially when we are busy or faced with a problem...
And the most scary part is that it happens even without us realizing..
Though we may still go to church, read the bible, serve the ministry..
Out of our consciousness, we sometimes we did that cause it has become part of our routine..
But when we did all those because we love Him, it will feel different..

Just imagine... When you are in love with someone..
You will want to know and find out everything about them..
You will do all you could to make them happy..
You will want to and will be happy talking to them all the time..
You do all these without being asked or even forced..
And you didn't do it cause it was part of your routine..
You did everything cause you are in love..

So now put God in place of the one you love..
Will you still have the same attitude?
Do you read the bible because you were asked to or you read it cause you want to know more about Him?
Do you serve in the ministry just to fill sunday morning schedule or you serve cause you want Him to be happy?
Do you pray cause its a habit or you pray cause you are happy talking with Him?

Its just a reminder for all of us..
Remember to keep the first love in our heart..
Never let it fades.. All the more we should let it grow more each day..

Teach me to believe, trust, obey and be faithful
And help me do all these because i love You :)
